I am a final year PhD student at the University of Saskatchewan. I work in the Interaction Lab and the ARIES Lab with Professors Carl Gutwin and Gordon McCalla. I do research in collaborative and social computing, information seeking and visualization, and interaction techniques for video games.
In my dissertation work, I design new interfaces and study systems that allow people to learn from each other. In the real world we learn by watching other people, but it can be tough to learn from others while staring at a screen. In my work, I analyze behavioral data of people using complex web systems and display it to allow people to learn and receive guidance from each other.
